Thread Veins

What are Thread Veins?

Thread veins, or dermal flares, are very fine dilated veins situated just beneath the surface of the skin. They can occur on their own but may arise alongside large varicose veins. Thread veins are harmless but unsightly.

Treatments

Many different treatments have been tried to cure thread veins including injection treatment, electrolysis, laser treatment and skin creams. The World’s Vein Experts have studied these different methods and concluded that the most effective method is injection treatment also known as sclerotherapy. This is usually the least uncomfortable treatment even though it involves injections.
